| Preamble: | The race is downwind, we go from either OK falls beach or Skaha lake beach depending on the direction of the wind. All boats go at the same time. SUP’s will leave 15 minutes earlier. No sails allowed. |

Format: Open to OC-1, OC-2, Kayak, Surf Ski, SUP 1 race:
There will be a meeting at Skaha lake where determination of direction of race will be decided. All boats should be there but not unloaded. It takes about 20 min to drive to other end of lake and about 15 to unload and set in water plus 15 prior to steers meeting and another 5 for warmup so:
Registration at event, 12:30 till 1:00 Meeting at Skaha will be 1:00 Steersperson meeting will be at 1:40 Race start 2:00.
As usual, there will be grits at the end of the race. Grits will be at the Boathouse regardless of race direction.
Additional meal cost for those not paddling but wanting to join in the food portion: $10.00.
A safety boat will be monitoring the race and is there to assist if needed. No promises or qualifications as to level of assistance is made. All racers must be self sufficient and able to look after themselves.
